About Michael Samoylov
Hi, I’m Michael. I’ve spent nearly twenty years working on distributed systems and data-intensive application.
Most days I write Go and Python code. I’m exploring Rust for extra speed and safety. I follow "you build it you run it" because shared ownership keeps systems clear and stable.
My work is usually about taking a messy problem, breaking it down then shipping something that can grow without causing trouble later whether it’s a new cloud setup or adding observability to an old service.
I began as a Linux sysadmin after leaving college early, which gave me a close look at the nuts and bolts of today’s cloud stacks. Years later I earned a BSc in applied informatics then an EMBA in strategic leadership so I can connect technical work with business goals.
Away from the keyboard I like DJing, hitting a tennis ball, cooking and trying new tech.
Let’s build something useful together.
